Re: MPLABX chipKIT Importer Plugin Released

A new version of the sketch importer (v1.0.6) has been released. This version adds support for the Flip & Click PIC32MZ board, as well as speed and stability improvements. The update is available from the MPLAB X plugin portal, or from Github:

Re: MPLABX chipKIT Importer Plugin Released

I've been testing the chipKIT Importer with MPLAB X v3.55 and v3.60. Its working great with the chipKIT Lenny and PGM programmer/debugger. The current version is 1.0.3. We'll keep posting minor updates as issues are identified and repaired. Updates are available from within MPLAB X IDE in the Tools:...

Re: PIC32MX270F256B Support?

Well, there is a detailed guide about adding new board definition files (aka, variant files)

Go to the front page of chipkit.net and search for "board variant"

Re: SoftSPI and DigitalIO.h Issue

Glad to hear that a fresh install solved the problem. Incidentally, you should be aware that active development of MPIDE has ceased. Our engineers are now focused on chipKIT-core, which is a Board Manager package for the official Arduino IDE. More info here: http://chipkit.net/wiki/index.php?title=C...

Re: any way to Factory reset an UNO32 that is Not responding?

Do you have the chipkit-core installed in the Ardunio IDE? And do you have the Uno32 board selected?
If you need help with those steps, see the excellent tutorial here:

Re: programming Pinguino Micro

I also believed the 32-bit Pinguino looked promising (I have a few in my office, as a matter of fact.) But the software support was lacking, and I found the build quality to be suspect. On my board, one of the little buttons broke apart after the first or second press :-( Inexpensive hardware is gre...

Re: Tools for assembly programming Uno32

I often find that menus don't show where the mouse actually is and you have to have the mouse about 2 inches to the right of the menu for it to register. Weird things like that. New versions of MPLAB X are released approximately every two months, and it may well be the case that this has already be...
